7v7Flag partners with certified High School coaches and players to guide girls of all levels through the fundamentals of flag football. Whether you're brand new to the sport or just starting to explore your potential, this 3-day camp in Redlands is the perfect introduction.
What you’ll learn:
Through interactive drills, focused instruction, and game-style play, athletes will build a solid foundation in essential flag football skills. Campers will rotate through skill stations, get introduced to key offensive and defensive positions, and end each day with scrimmage-style reps that reinforce teamwork and game awareness.
Whether you're a middle schooler ready to try something new or a high school player exploring flag for the first time—this camp is designed to support your growth, confidence, and love for the game.

Equipment Needed:
Athletic Clothing, cleats, water, sunscreen, and a light snack. If you have flag football gloves, feel free to bring them. Flags and footballs will be provided.

Camp Coaches

Coach April
Coach April brings over 30 years of dedicated experience in education and athletics to the Redlands High School community. A 1993 graduate of UCLA, where she competed at the Division I level in both Cross Country and Track & Field, she has spent her entire career mentoring student-athletes at the secondary level.
Since assuming leadership of the Redlands Track & Field program in 2009, Coach April has established a culture of excellence. Under her guidance, the Girls Track & Field team secured back-to-back CIF Championships in 2014 and 2015, earning her the title of Inland Empire Coach of the Year for both seasons.
Beyond her success on the track, she has coached Cross Country for many years and was recently selected to spearhead the inaugural Girls Flag Football program at RHS in 2024. Coach April is joined on the sidelines by her husband, Ted; the two have coached alongside one another since 2009. Together, they have raised three children and remain deeply committed to the growth of youth athletics.

Coach Ted
With over three decades of dedicated service in education and athletics, Coach Ted Berry is a pillar of the Redlands High School athletic department. A 1991 graduate of Hamline University, where he was a dual-sport athlete in Football and Track & Field, Coach Ted has committed his career to the holistic development of student-athletes at the secondary level.
Coach Ted Berry’s coaching portfolio is marked by versatility and a proven track record of postseason success. Having served as a Varsity Head Coach for both Boys and Girls Basketball, he has consistently led his programs to the CIF Playoffs. His championship experience also extends to the track, where he was a key contributor to two CIF Championships with the Redlands Girls Track & Field program.
In 2024, Coach Berry was selected to help spearhead the inaugural Girls Flag Football program at RHS, tasked with building the foundation for this emerging sport. His coaching expertise spans an impressive range of disciplines, including:

● Field Sports: Football, Softball, and Girls Flag Football
● Endurance & Technical: Cross Country and Track & Field
Since 2009, Coach Ted has shared the sidelines with his wife, April. This unique coaching partnership has allowed them to mentor hundreds of athletes while raising their three children. Together, the Berrys remain deeply committed to the growth of youth athletics and the Redlands community.

Coach Coy
Coach Glass has been coaching high school football for 42 years. He has spent the last two years coaching as the defensive coordinator for the girls flag football program at Redlands High School. He has coached Quarterbacks, running backs and receivers on the offensive side and defensive backs, inside and outside linebackers on the defensive side. He has also coached High school Basketball for 35 years and HS Baseball for 10 years. Coach Glass is married with four children. The 3 boys all played football and baseball in high school, while the oldest went on to play Quarterback at the Division 1 level. All his children played sports in college. Coach Glass has a degree in kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton and has been teaching in the Redlands District since 1987.
Coach Glass also has many years experience coaching youth sports (baseball, basketball, soccer). Coach Glass has enjoyed coaching success in multiple sports at the high school level. Going to the playoffs in all three Varsity sports coached at the Redlands!
