  • What is 7v7Flag?
    7v7Flag is a non-profit organization started by parents of high school female-athletes with the goal of providing additional opportunities for high school girls of all abilities to advance in a sport that we love. We believe in the power of team and in building bridges from middle school to high school and high school to college in one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
  • What is Women’s Coaching Alliance (WCA)?
    WCA is a non- profit with a signature training and development program "Coach Today, Lead for Life" serves young women athletes in their formative years (ages 15-26) and builds their foundational leadership skills and confidence through coaching youth sports. Even better, by increasing representation of female coaches in youth sports, a virtuous cycle begins, inspiring the next generation.
  • How are 7v7Flag and WCA affiliated?
    7v7Flag and WCA are partners with the same mission to allow more opportunities for high school female athletes to participate in sports.
  • What are the differences in each camp?
    7v7Flag Intro to Flag Football is designed for any high school age female whether they want to play in high school or not. As flag is a very new sport, many incoming 9th graders have never been able to play. Additionally, there are still many high schools that do not have teams. See California High School teams here. 7v7Flag Advanced is designed for returning high school female athletes who want to really hone their skills. These camps will focus on game situations and are great opportunities for athletes who want to try other positions than their normal high school one.
  • Who can attend the camp?
    The camp is open to any rising 9th through 12 grader entering grades of all skill levels. Whether your child is new to the sport or looking to refine their technique, our program is tailored to accommodate different experience levels.
  • Camp Locations
    Camps will be at the following locations: Sacred Heart Prep, Atherton CA Cate School, Carpenteria CA Aragon High School, San Mateo CA
  • What are the dates and times of the camp?
    The camp runs from: With daily sessions from 09:00am to 12:00pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in.
  • How much does the camp cost?
    Note: The camp fee is per participant, which includes all training sessions, a camp T-shirt, and access to coaching from experienced staff.
  • Can I join more than 1 camp?
    Absolutely we would love to have you at multiple camps.
  • How do I register my child for the camp?
    You can register online by visiting 7v7flag.com and completing the registration form. Payment must be submitted at the time of registration to secure a spot.
  • What forms of payment are accepted?
    We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, and GPAY. If you need to arrange an alternative payment method, please contact us at info@7v7flag.com
  • Is there a registration deadline?
    Yes, registration closes (7) days before the camp starts or when all spots are filled. We recommend signing up early to guarantee a spot as we expect all camps to sell out.
  • Are there any discounts?
    Yes - we offer 10% discount for a 2nd sibility or for 2 or more camps.
  • What is the refund policy if my child can’t attend?
    Cancellations made 30 days before the camp starts will receive a full refund minus cancellation fees. Cancellations from 7 days to 30 days before camp started will receive a 50% refund minus cancellation fees. Any cancellations later than 7 days before camp will not be eligible for a refund.
  • What does a typical day at camp look like?
    Each day includes warm-ups, individual skill drills, team exercises, scrimmages, and fun competitions. A more detailed schedule will be provided upon registration.
  • Will players be grouped by skill level or age?
    Yes, participants will be grouped based on age and skill level to ensure balanced competition and effective instruction.
  • What skills will be taught?
    Our camp covers passing, catching, route running, defensive positioning, flag pulling techniques, and game strategy. We also emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship.
  • Will there be scrimmages or games?
    Yes! Campers will have the opportunity to apply their skills in friendly scrimmages and tournament-style games throughout the week.
  • What should campers bring?
    Campers should bring: Athletic clothing (shorts, T-shirt) Cleats or athletic shoes Water bottle Sunscreen Mouthguard (recommended)
  • Do players need to bring their own football?
    No, we will provide footballs and all necessary training equipment.
  • Will jerseys or pinnies be provided?
    Yes, each camper will receive a camp T-shirt, and pinnies will be provided for team drills and scrimmages.
  • Are cleats required?
    Cleats are recommended but not required. If wearing cleats, they must be rubber-soled (no metal spikes).
  • What measures are in place to ensure player safety?
    Our camp follows strict safety protocols, including proper warm-up routines, hydration breaks, and supervised activities led by experienced coaches.
  • Are there certified coaches or trainers on-site?
    Our coaching staff consists of experienced high school coaches, former players and staff trained in First Aid and CPR.
  • How are injuries handled?
    We have staff trained in First Aid and CPR. In the event of a serious injury, 911 and parents will be contacted immediately.
  • Is there a medical staff or trainer available?
    We do not have a medical staff or trainer on site but our staff is trained in First Aid and CPR.
  • What happens if it rains?
    Camp will continue in light rain, but if there is severe weather (thunderstorms, heavy rain, extreme heat), we will notify parents of any schedule changes via email or text.
  • Will there be makeup sessions for missed days?
    We do our best to accommodate weather-related cancellations, but makeup sessions are not guaranteed.
  • How will parents be notified of schedule changes?
    We will send updates via email and text, and we will post any changes on our website and social media pages.
  • Are parents allowed to stay and watch?
    Yes! Parents are welcome to watch from designated viewing areas but are asked not to interfere with camp activities.
  • Will food and drinks be provided?
    Water stations will be available, but campers should bring their own water bottles. No meals will be provided, so please ensure your child eats before arriving.
