Come play against the best under the guidance of experienced High School Coaches
During this camp, you will work with high school coaches and experienced flag football players to advance and elevate your game. Portions of the proceeds of the camp go to support the Women's Coaching Alliance, which is on a mission to develop female leaders through coaching youth sports!
What you’ll learn:
Participants will develop advanced flag football skills through proper techniques, position-specific drills, and game strategies. This (4) day session will start out quickly with position rotations and will be heavily focused on 1on1, 5on5 and 7on7 scrimmages. There will be several awards at the end of the week.
The camp is ideal for any experienced flag football athlete; 2026 Grads will also be able to participate. There will be opportunities to learn and try new positions. This camp is an incredible opportunity for young female athletes to improve their game, build confidence, and form lasting friendships. More than just football, players will walk away with valuable lessons in teamwork, leadership, and perseverance—on and off the field.

First day of Camp - Begins 30 min prior to camp start time. Remaining days, check in starts 15 mins prior to the camp start time.

Pick-up happens at the fields.
Equipment Needed:
Athletic Clothing, cleats, water, sunscreen, and a light snack. If you have flag football gloves, feel free to bring them. Flags and footballs will be provided.
Weather:
Camp will run rain or shine.

Coach Therren Wilburn
Therren, is a distinguished graduate of San Jose State University with a Master's degree in Sport Management, brings a wealth of expertise and passion to the sports industry, particularly in interscholastic and collegiate sports. With a diverse background encompassing experience in interscholastic, collegiate, and intramural sports, Therren is a versatile sport manager with a demonstrated capacity for growth in the field.
Currently serving as an athletic academic coach at his alma mater, San Jose State, Therren's commitment to excellence and leadership is evident in his role. Moreover, as the co-founder of First Chance U foundation, alongside Jamar Taylor, Therren plays a pivotal role in the success of this nonprofit organization.
Therren's vision and dedication have been instrumental in transforming First Chance U into a thriving nonprofit, dedicated to empowering student-athletes. His leadership, alongside Jamar Taylor, has steered the organization towards achieving its mission of providing opportunities and support for aspiring student-athletes, thereby making a significant impact in the community and beyond.
