Meet Coach Ted
With over three decades of dedicated service in education and athletics, Coach Ted Berry is a pillar of the Redlands High School athletic department. A 1991 graduate of Hamline University, where he was a dual-sport athlete in Football and Track & Field, Coach Berry has committed his career to the holistic development of student-athletes at the secondary level.
Coach Berry’s coaching portfolio is marked by versatility and a proven track record of postseason success. Having served as a Varsity Head Coach for both Boys and Girls Basketball, he has consistently led his programs to the CIF Playoffs. His championship experience also extends to the track, where he was a key contributor to two CIF Championships with the Redlands Girls Track & Field program.
In 2024, Coach Berry was selected to help spearhead the inaugural Girls Flag Football program at RHS, tasked with building the foundation for this emerging sport. His coaching expertise spans an impressive range of disciplines, including:

● Field Sports: Football, Softball, and Girls Flag Football
● Endurance & Technical:Cross Country and Track & Field
Since 2009, Coach Berry has shared the sidelines with his wife, April. This unique coaching partnership has allowed them to mentor hundreds of athletes while raising their three children. Together, the Berrys remain deeply committed to the growth of youth athletics and the Redlands community.
