Meet Coach Jenny
Coach Jennifer Gatch is a flag football coach, trainer, and former NFL cheerleader passionate about developing the next generation of female athletes.
She spent 6 seasons as an Oakland Raiders cheerleader, serving as Team Captain, representing the Raiders as their Pro Bowl Cheerleader in Hawaii, and being selected as Captain of the AFC Pro Bowl Cheerleading Team.
Her flag football journey began when her son wanted to join flag football and wanted her to help him gain more confidence in catching. To become a better coach, she trained with Coach Kat McCormick founder of Flag Lab Performance. From there she began competing in adult leagues and coaching at combines, showcases, clinics, and private 1 on 1 coaching.
Today, she trains athletes as young as 6 years old all the way to adults through private lessons, camps, clinics, and virtual coaching. She has served as Head Coach of the California Queens 12U elite travel team and is the newest Assistant Coach and Player Development Coach for the girls flag football program at Carondelet High School.
As a child behavioral technician, Jennifer also brings her mission driven efforts to help children on the autism spectrum learn flag football fundamentals, build confidence, and feel included in mainstream flag football programs. Her mission is to build confident athletes, empower young women, and grow the game through inclusion.
